Hello Yvette,
What a fantastic find! I truly appreciate the information posted in the newsletter [in all your newsletters]. In addition to this most current translation project in The Netherlands, I am interested to know how the Albany, NY project [working on the translation of records from the colonial Dutch period in New York] is progressing. Is there anyway to access information on records being translated or the publication of their work?
Thank you for your excellent newsletter and the insight to Dutch culture and history.
Great to hear you enjoyed this post. I love the New Netherland project you’re referring to! They publish all the finished work and information on the project on the website of the New Netherland Institute. It even has a podcast “New Netherland Praatjes” where you can hear about what’s going on.
Thank you so much for the information. I will check it out!
